I am a lifelong resident of Chicago and the north suburbs.
I graduated from Niles West High School and at the University of Iowa earned my B.A. in Communications and Psychology. 
My husband and I currently reside in the city of Chicago. 
The event planning industry has been my passion since 1991. 
I was previously employed by a large event planning company, specializing in high-end social and corporate functions. While there, I learned a tremendous amount about this fascinating industry. I founded and have been running Jamie Boton, Inc. (JBI) since 2003. I deal personally with every client, and am familiar with the details of each function being planned. When you are working with me, you can rest assured that my goal is to plan the event that you envision. Nothing short of satisfying a client completely is satisfactory to me. I am capable, creative and calm, all qualities that may come in handy as your big day approaches.
